This year's farm festival was a tremendous success. Unfortunately it rained, but that did not stop the hundreds of folks who stopped by to plant some garlic, and take a horse ride tour in a carriage on our newly bought land. We never thought it would rain, (we didn't even have a rain date or rain facilities), Thank g-d to teamwork and ingenuity we converted the smallish barn into a real festive atmosphere. There were numerous places that gave us donations of mums, pumpkins, and gourds to decorate the place. The food was delicious and the people were really happy. Next year's festival will be mid September before the holidays. It was so great to see all the people who showed their support and we welcome suggestions and comments.
